All ratchet elements under tension are metal-colored and must not be touched for safety reasons. “Black coating” marks the parts of the ratchet that are safe to touch. This increases safety when using the ratchet

In order to offer beginners the very best starting conditions, quality and safety always come first. The Classic Line kit complies not only with the DIN guidelines for slacklining (DIN79400), but also meets the safety regulations of the German TÜV. The included ratchet protection (RAT PAD) has convenient snap fasteners for quick attachment and effectively prevents injuries. To protect both the trees and the slackline, the Classic Line kit contains 2 large tree protectors "Treewear" made of black felt - thanks to Velcro quickly attached.
